Teacher Moment Tuesday~Don't Waste Your Summer

Hey Glamour Girls! Some of you have children and some don't, for those of  you who  don't share this with someone who does. 

This summer I want you help increase the reading level of a child! You can do this by encouraging children to read, taking them to the library, and explaining to child how important it is. 

For my son we will have weekly spelling tests for the month of June. Every word spelled correctly adds one dollar to his bank account. In July he will have the option to spend or save the money. 

I think it's important for parents and family members to have a helping hand in raising a child. This requires no money! You don't have to give the child money for reading and spelling, that's something I'm doing new this year. My son is going to 4th grade so I thought it would be nice to see how this works. 

I hope you consider taking time to help a child learn to read or love to read! 

Teacher Moment Tuesday~ Growth

Hey Glamour Girls! The end of school year is near! Words can not explain how happy I am. Don't get me wrong I love my job, but I need time to regroup and recharge. 

This school year has been filled with so many changes.  I had to take on new responsibilities in the blink of eye. As I reflect on the school year I don't know how I adjusted to the changes so quick. I believed in myself and asked God help me. I trusted him and things worked out. 

Each summer I attend at least one teacher  conference to help me become a better teacher.  I would recommend all teachers to attend some type of professional development. As teachers we have to keep learning. 

I have really grown as a teacher. And a big part of my growth comes from connecting with other teachers and professional development during the summer.

The Celebration

Hey Glamour Girls! This weekend I went to LA to celebrate my friends graduation from Law School. What a big accomplishment! I'm so proud of her. She inspires me to go for the things I want, things other people think I'm not fit for. I thank God we crossed paths 10 years ago. 

She received her JD degree from Southwestern Law school. Family and friends came  from all over to help her celebrate, our section had about 50 people all there for her.

Hey Glamour Girls! I went to Chicago a few weeks ago and of course I went shopping! I went to Nordstrom and scored the hottest dress. I knew I had to find something to wear to the Anthony Hamilton concert so when I seen this dress I knew it would be perfect.

I love everything about this dress, the material, color, pattern, and of course the fit. Prints and patterns are trending for the Spring and Summer ladies, so add it to your closet. Formal Attire Required

Hey Glamour Girls! I was invited to a wedding that required formal attire, I was instantly excited when I read the invitation. I love to dress up and get beautiful for  a great occasion. 

I purchased this dress from H&M in November with plans to wearing it to a concert. The day of the concert I was not in the mood to wear it. When the wedding came I knew exactly what I wanted to wear, this dress. 

The wedding was beautiful! I was so honored to be invited.

Hey Glamour Girls! I'm so happy to be on summer vacation. The second best reason to be a teacher. 

So many people have their opinions about teachers, but this is the hardest but most rewarding job I have ever had.

I work extremely hard all year and deserve some time off. During the summer I regroup and think of ways to become better. 

Honestly I had a few project ideas on Saturday,and shared them with my guy and he said "Ganelle take a break".I can't help it. I love what I do and I will always strive for greatness. 

My break is off to a good start and I can't wait to share my summer fashion with you ladies.

Hey Glamour Girls! I'm sure you have heard and read  about the Lilly for Target madness. Well I really only wanted three items but walked away with one. The line was wrapped around the building. I was number 20 in line. At 8 am when the doors opened ladies ran, pushed, and shoved people out the way. I could not believe it. 

At first I was a little upset but I got over it. Check out the pants I was about to score. They are super comfy, a little long but I have plenty of heels that can solve that problem.
