Color blocking has been a trend for a while but in a different way. Most of the time we see a mixture of different colors to create the color block look. Well now retailers has started to spice up  color blocking by creating shirts with the color blocking already done for you. The color block shirt is great because it makes you look slimmer. Teaacher Moment Tuesday- FAFSA Frenzy

Do you know a High a School Senior that plans on attending college this Fall? Do you know parents that need help filling out the FAFSA? Please read and share the information below!

The Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel and the Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE) are partnering closely to bring the CGS program, called FAFSA Frenzy, toMissouri in 2013. To assist students and parents with the FAFSA process, financial aid professionals will be on hand at fifty-four FAFSA Frenzy events throughout the months of January – March. Dates, times and locations for all events are available at http://www.dhe.mo.gov/ or www.masfap.org/showmetocollege. Families will be able to complete the 2013-2014 FAFSA on-site and obtain valuable information.

 A local FAFSA Frenzy event will be held at Soldan International Studies High School on Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 6-8 pm. Soldan is located at 918 North Union Blvd St. Louis MO 63112 . An inclement weather date of Wednesday, February 13, 2013 has been established. Please go if you need help!

Scholarships will be drawn for students attending a FAFSA Frenzy event. Winners will receive their scholarship upon receipt of enrollment verification for the 2013 fall term in a Missouri post-secondary program.

I have a new place new SHOP! Dress to Kill Boutique is my newest find! I discovered them on Instagram and fell in love with the selection of shoes and accessories. They offer clothing as well but just not for me. I’m a little too thick with it, but that’s fine because I would not pay $200 for a dress I could get from ASOS for $50.

Saving money is so hard! It used it to one of my biggest challenges in life. I have learned that it does not matter how much you save, but save something! It’s nothing like something unexpected coming up and you’re faced with the problem of not having the means of fixing it. Many American families feel as if they don’t make enough money to save, but that’s not true. You can save at least $50 a paycheck. If you are having a hard time managing your money then create a budget! My budget saves my life literally! Without my budget I would not know what I could and couldn't afford.

Bakers Shoe store in the St.Louis Galleria will close sometime in February. The exact day has not been announced. Ladies go check out Bakers before they close the doors. I'm really upset about the store closing. I'm forced to find other retailers that offer stylish/ trendy shoes at affordable prices. Bakers will be missed by so many, I'm sure. I hope Bakers online will still be available, I can't wait to find out. I will keep you updated!
