NYE Inspired

Hey Glamour Girls! Last night I went to a high school friend's 30th birthday bash. I was going through my closet trying to find something to wear. I changed at least 14 times. I could not find anything that spoke to me. Like yes wear me! No matter if I'm going to work, on a date, or hanging with girlfriends my outfit has to speak to me. It's just who I am.

So after my room was a disaster this is what I came up with. I felt so beautiful. It's nothing like stepping out feeling sexy and confident.

Not sure what I'm doing for NYE but this look is the perfect for a  New Year's Eve night out.

Ladies don't be afraid to shop in stores that don't sell plus size clothes. My whole look is a size Large.

Happy Birthday To Me

Hey glamour girls! I miss posting so much! I had to find a way to balance being a mom, my career, my personal life and doing the things I enjoy. I created a system to balance it all. So with that being said you will see me posting more often. Sometimes life will throw curve balls but as women we have to be strong. Things in my life have been crazy but I'm still standing. Ladies if you are going through some things right now I suggest you get a journal and express your feelings in there, your business is not to be shared with everyone remember that. After you write your thoughts, plans, and feelings in your journal...cry let out all the hurt and confusion, you'll feel much better. I'm so excited to be posting again. Please continue to support the blog. Thank you so much!

 Now to my birthday outfit.

St. Louis Fashion Week Show #2

Hey Glamour Girls! As you know or don't know its Fashion Week here in St. Louis and shows has been great so far. I'm excited to see St. Louis bring awareness to the Fashion. Last night was the first show at the St. Louis Galleria "Fall into Fashion" and tonight's show was "Indulge" at Plaza Frontenac. Both shows had really great turn outs and raised money for charity.  8 more shows to go! See you ladies at the Fox Theatre for Project Runway Fashion Show tomorrow. Click  HERE  to get tickets and see the full schedule.

On another note, I love being a Plus Size Blogger because people look at me like I’m crazy sometimes; they can’t believe the confidence I have. I refuse to let society dress me.  Ladies don’t let society determine what’s in your closet. Wear It, Own It, and Don’t Trip.  Check out my looks from the last two days below.

Confidence Is Everything

Hey Glamour Girls! Confidence is everything to me. If I get dressed and the outfit does not give me life or I don't feel confident I'm not wearing it.

Five years ago you could not pay me to wear shorts that did not come to my knees. Now girl watch out! I have this new found confidence, and I'm unstoppable. I can care less what someone thinks of what I'm wearing as long as I feel good in it. Glamour Girls you will always have people who don't agree with your wardrobe picks, but so what. I encourage you to wear whatever you feel confident in.

Check me out below in my shorts, showing all leg action. Boom I'm confident and curvy.
