Trending Thursday- Lace Up Sandals

Hey Glamour Girls! New week new trend! This week’s new trend is the lace up sandal. I purchased a pair back in February before I even knew it was going to be a trend this Spring. When I saw them I thought how perfect they would be for both work and play. My lace up sandals came from Target’s new line Prabal Gurung. They are pretty much sold out but you could get lucky and find a pair.
Here is the pair I got from Target- Prabal Gurung $39.99

Browsing the web I came across two pair of lace up sandals at ZARA.

Here is the first pair

Teacher moment Tuesday- ReadWriteThink.org

I’m always looking for new ways to make learning fun for students. Browsing the web I discovered readwritethink.org.

www.readwritethink.org is an online resource for educators, parents, and afterschool professionals. It helps students build literacy skills, accomplish goals, and organize thoughts, all while having fun.

The site has different categories for you to choose from such as organizing & summarizing, inquiry & analysis, writing about poetry, and lots of other options.  The tools are available for grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.

The interactive tool that I liked the most was the Venn diagram, 3 circles. This interactive tool allows students to create Venn Diagrams that contain three overlapping circles. Students identify and record concepts that can be placed in one of the three circles or in the overlapping areas, allowing them to organize their information logically. Students may view and edit their draft diagrams, then print the finished diagrams for reference.

When visiting the site I found it very easy to navigate and learn what to do. I think students would like this site.
Here a link to the Student Interactive Page >>>>>>>>  http://www.readwritethink.org/classroom-resources/student-interactives/

Have a good week and don't forget to join the site with Google Friend Connect to the right. First giveaway coming soon Glamour Girls!

Printed Wedges and Bold Bangles-OOTD

Hey Glamour Girls! My two favorite trends right now are printed wedges and bold bangles. The printed wedge is so versatile and can be worn with so much. The possibilities are endless; you can wear them with a high low dress, shorts and a tee, boyfriend jeans and cardigan and the list goes on. I love wedges because they are so comfortable and I can wear them anywhere.

“Arm Candy” is the new term for your arm accessories.  No matter the occasion you always need accessories to complete your look. Picking the right accessories is important because you don’t want to overdo it. My advice when it comes to your arm candy would be not having more than can fit your arm. You can mix and match different bracelets and bangle to achieve your look.

These printed wedges are super comfy similar Here and Here

Today I keep it simple with my arm candy

Yesterday you said Tomorrow- Procrastination

Procrastination: To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness.
We all are guilty of being a procrastinator.  We need to get it together.  Today I realized that I need to stop putting off things for later, because I end up forgetting about it altogether.  If it’s something that you know you need to do, do it and stop putting off for another day. You will end up regretting it, trust me.  Procrastinators like myself, say we perform better under pressure, but more often than not that's our way of justifying putting things off. Today I just want to encourage you stop putting things off. Just do what needs to be done.

He was born healthy at 6 pounds and 5 ounces. When he was born my life changed forever. He is truly my gift from God.  We had a great classroom party and dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. The fun continues Saturday.  Check out a few pictures from my fun and busy day.

Wardrobe Wednesday- Shop Around

Hey Glamour Girls! When I first saw this shoe I fell in LOVE! Jessica Simpson is one my favorite shoe designer’s; her shoes are always comfortable and stylish. I saw these shoes at Macy’s, Dillard’s, and Nordstrom’s. All three places had different prices at different times.

The shoes are available at Macy's for $119.00 with 10% off PROMO CODE: DEAL (as of today)
The shoes are available at Dillard's for $79.99 (as of today)
Nordstrom's  Sold out of the shoe when they went on sale for $59.96
As you can see it’s great to shop around before you make a purchase sometimes. Shoes always go on sale. Usually I buy shoes the first time they go on sale, because they always run out of my size.
Do you girls like these Jessica Simpson’s? Would you purchase these?  Let me know below!
